The C.A.T. (Combat Application Tourniquet) Gen 7 is a small, lightweight arterial tourniquet designed to stop life-threatening bleeding from an arm or leg by completely occluding arterial blood flow. Built for one-handed application by the user or a responder, it is trusted across military, tactical, EMS, and first aid settings.

The Gen 7 builds on the proven Gen 6 platform with a new single routing buckle for faster application, reduced blood loss, effective slack removal, fewer windlass turns, and simplified training under a single protocol.

Key features of the C.A.T. Gen 7:

  • Single routing buckle: Quick, tight application of the band with less blood loss and simplified training.
  • Windlass rod: Thicker rod for enhanced strength and improved grip.
  • Self-adhering band: Fits a wide range of extremities and removes slack effectively.
  • Friction adaptor buckle: Combined with the one-handed windlass system for true circumferential pressure.
  • Windlass clip: Locks the windlass in place with one hand.
  • Hook-and-loop windlass strap: Secures the windlass during patient transport.

Are CAT tourniquets reusable? The C.A.T. is designed as a single-patient-use device for live casualty application. Units used only for training should be marked and kept separate from operational stock and never deployed on a live casualty.

Available in black and orange. Suitable for individual first aid kits (IFAKs), trauma kits, ambulance services, defence, law enforcement, and workplace emergency response.
