The HyFin Vent Compact Chest Seal Twin Pack from North American Rescue is a vented occlusive dressing for managing penetrating chest trauma. Each seal prevents air being drawn into the chest cavity on inspiration, while three 1-way vents allow air to escape on exhalation, reducing the risk of tension pneumothorax.
Designed for use in the field, the HyFin's aggressive adhesive holds securely on bloody, wet, sweaty, or hairy patients. Each seal is packaged individually in a tough pouch with a tearable notch, so you can deploy one at a time and keep the second in reserve for an exit wound or a second casualty.
The low-profile packaging fits discreetly in an IFAK, response kit, plate carrier, or pocket, making it suited to military medics, paramedics, tactical operators, and prepared civilians.
