The Large Tactical IFAK Bleed Control Kit gives first responders, tactical operators, clinicians and prepared civilians the tools to manage life-threatening bleeding and trauma. Contents are organised inside a tear-away laser-cut MOLLE pouch, with two tourniquets mounted externally for rapid access under stress.
What it solves: severe extremity haemorrhage, junctional bleeding, open chest wounds and the early stages of the trauma triad of death (bleeding, hypothermia and coagulopathy).
Kit contents:
- 2 x Tourniquets: choose DNIPRO (Gen 2) or Combat Application Tourniquet (Gen 7) for rapid haemorrhage control
- 2 x HyFin Chest Seal Compact Twin Packs: one-way seals for entry and exit chest wounds, helping prevent tension pneumothorax
- 2 x SafeGuard Medical 4" Emergency Pressure Bandages: integrated pressure applicator, non-adherent pad and elastic wrap
- 2 x RAPIDSTOP Packing Gauze: haemostatic gauze for wound packing where a tourniquet cannot be applied
- 2 x Pairs AEROGLOVE Large Nitrile Gloves: powder-free, latex-free barrier protection
- 2 x AERORESCUE Thermal Blankets (140 x 210 cm): retain body heat to address hypothermia
- MyMedEquip 18 cm Trauma Shears, sharpie, glow stick, casualty card and Bleed Control Instructional Card
IFAK stands for Individual First Aid Kit. Unlike a general first aid kit, an IFAK is built around treating major trauma, not minor cuts and grazes, and is designed to be used on the carrier by a trained responder or teammate.
Pouch carries on belt, plate carrier, vehicle headrest or pack via MOLLE. Suited to police, security, defence, remote workers, four-wheel drive touring and range bags.
