Public Access Trauma Kit

The Public Access Trauma Kit gives bystanders and first responders the tools to control major bleeding and manage traumatic injuries in workplaces, shopping centres, transport hubs and other public spaces. Each item is selected to address the leading preventable causes of death from trauma: severe haemorrhage, tension pneumothorax and hypothermia.

What's inside:

• Tourniquet (your choice): DNIPRO Gen 2 or Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) Gen 7 for rapid haemorrhage control on a limb.
• HyFin Chest Seal Compact Twin Pack: Vented one-way seals for open chest wounds, sized for entry and exit injuries.

• RapidStop Packing Gauze: For packing junctional and penetrating wounds to support clotting.
• AEROGLOVE Large Nitrile Gloves (pair): Powder-free, latex-free protection against bloodborne pathogens.
• AERORESCUE Thermal Emergency Blanket (140 x 210 cm): Helps prevent hypothermia, which impairs clotting.
• Sharpie Permanent Marker: Mark tourniquet time, label wounds or complete the Major Incident Card.
• MyMedEquip 18 cm Trauma Shears: Cut quickly through clothing, belts and webbing.
• Bleed Control Instructions Card: Step-by-step guidance for untrained bystanders.

Sealed in a clearly marked bleed control pouch so the kit is easy to identify in an emergency and protected from dust and contamination until needed. Suits public access cabinets, staff first aid stations, security teams and event medical setups.
