TraumaFix Emergency Traction Splint

The TraumaFix Emergency Traction Splint is a clinically proven device used to stabilise suspected femoral fractures at the scene, reduce pain, and limit the risk of life-threatening complications during transport.

Traction splints are used to realign and immobilise the fractured femur by applying controlled longitudinal pull, which reduces bleeding into the thigh, eases muscle spasm, and decreases pain. When not to use: TraumaFix Traction Splints are not indicated for fractures of the pelvis, hip, knee, lower leg, or ankle, or where there is a partial amputation or severe distal injury. Always follow your service's clinical guidelines.
