PRIMEDIC HeartSave myPAD AED Trainer

The PRIMEDIC HeartSave myPAD AED Trainer is the dedicated training version of the HeartSave myPAD defibrillator. It looks, sounds and operates like the real device, so learners practise on the same layout, prompts and rescue sequence they will meet in an emergency. It is for teaching only and has no defibrillation function; the shock is simulated.

Built for first aid and CPR instructors, RTOs, schools, workplaces, sporting clubs and clinical educators who want to train people on the AED they actually have on the wall or in the vehicle.

• No Screen – matches the voice-guided myPAD, with fixed CPR and pad placement graphics on the front of the unit.

Frequently asked questions

Can the myPAD Trainer deliver a shock?
No. It is a training device only. Shocks are simulated and it cannot be used on a patient.

Does it follow Australian CPR guidelines?
The trainer replicates the HeartSave myPAD prompts. Teach compression and ventilation technique in line with current ANZCOR guidelines.

Which manikins does it work with?
The reusable training electrodes are designed for use on any type of CPR manikin.

Should I match the trainer to my live AED?
Yes. Choose the LCD Screen version if your live myPAD has a display, and the No Screen version for the voice-only model, so staff train on what they will use.
