QuikClot EMS Rolled Gauze is a sterile, soft white 7.5cm x 1.2m (3 in. x 4 ft.) nonwoven haemostatic gauze impregnated with kaolin, an inorganic mineral that activates Factor XII to accelerate the body's natural clotting response. It is designed to help you control bleeding quickly so you can move on to other tasks as patients progress through the continuum of care.

Compared with standard rolled gauze, QuikClot has been shown to reduce blood loss and promote robust clot formation. This can also help reduce exposure to blood and bloodborne pathogens, and may cut decontamination time for equipment and vehicles.
