Short Description
Blood-IQ Simulated Blood Concentrate is a purpose-built simulation fluid from the simUNIQ range, designed to bring realistic bleeding effects to trauma, first-aid and clinical skills training. One bottle dilutes with clean water to make up to 3 litres of simulated blood, with adjustable viscosity to recreate anything from light oozing wounds to severe haemorrhage — and it washes out of clothing on a cold cycle.
Full Description
Blood-IQ is a premium simulated blood concentrate developed to add realism and immersion to trauma and bleeding-control training scenarios. Formulated for compatibility with simUNIQ task trainers — including the Tourn-IQ Tourniquet Trainer and Pack-IQ Wound Packing Trainer — Blood-IQ lets instructors dial in the exact look and behaviour of bleeding they need for a scenario.
Simply add clean water to the concentrate and shake — one bottle makes up to 3 litres of simulated blood. Adjusting the dilution changes the viscosity and flow, so instructors can recreate a wide spectrum of bleeding presentations, from light oozing wounds through to severe, high-volume haemorrhage, supporting progressive skill-building in bleeding control and haemorrhage management.
Blood-IQ is designed to be practical for busy simulation environments: it's easy to mix, easy to manage during scenario resets, and washes out of clothing on a cold wash cycle — helping keep training realistic without the clean-up becoming a burden. It's well suited to simulation centres and skills labs, paramedic and emergency medical training, nursing and medical school OSCEs, military and tactical medical training, and first-aid or haemorrhage-control courses.
Key Features

How to Use
-
Add clean water to the Blood-IQ concentrate bottle.
-
Shake to combine.
-
Dilute further with water as needed — one bottle yields up to 3 litres of simulated blood.
-
Adjust the water-to-concentrate ratio to achieve the desired viscosity and bleed rate for the training scenario (lighter dilution for oozing wounds, less dilution for severe haemorrhage effects).

Can I adjust how the simulated blood looks and flows?
Yes. Changing the water-to-concentrate ratio adjusts the viscosity and flow rate, letting you simulate anything from light oozing wounds to severe haemorrhage.
Does Blood-IQ stain clothing?
Blood-IQ washes out of clothing on a cold wash cycle.
What equipment is Blood-IQ compatible with?
It's formulated for use with simUNIQ task trainers, including the Tourn-IQ Tourniquet Trainer and Pack-IQ Wound Packing Trainer.
Who is Blood-IQ suitable for?
