IMISTAMBO Handover Cards A6 (10-Pack)

The IMISTAMBO Handover Cards give paramedics, student paramedics and first responders a printed prompt for structured patient handover to emergency department clinicians. IMISTAMBO (also written IMIST-AMBO) is the standard ambulance-to-ED handover mnemonic used across Australian prehospital care, and pairs with the ISBAR framework used inside hospitals.

Each pack contains ten A6 cards printed on 350gsm card stock, sized to fit a uniform pocket and sturdy enough to write on with pen or pencil during a job.

What IMISTAMBO stands for:

• Identification: patient name, age and other identifying details
• Mechanism or medical complaint
• Injuries or information related to the complaint
• Signs: vital signs and clinical observations
• Treatment and trends: interventions given and patient response
• Allergies
• Medication: current medications
• Background history
• Other information relevant to ongoing care
