The QuikClot EMS Haemostatic Dressing is a sterile, kaolin-impregnated gauze designed to control moderate to severe bleeding in trauma and pre-hospital care. Each 10 x 10cm dressing is supplied in a single easy-rip pack, giving first responders fast access when seconds matter.

What a haemostatic dressing does

A haemostatic dressing accelerates the body's natural clotting cascade at the wound site. QuikClot uses kaolin, an inorganic mineral that activates clotting without an exothermic reaction and without animal or human-derived proteins, making it suitable for patients with a wide range of sensitivities.
