The TraumaFix Pelvic Splint is a single-use pelvic fracture brace designed for emergency stabilisation of suspected pelvic fractures in pre-hospital and field settings. Lightweight, compact and quick to apply, it gives first responders a reliable way to compress and immobilise the pelvis when every second counts.
Built from strong but soft neoprene with a stitch-free interior, the splint reduces friction and the risk of pressure-related skin injuries during transport. A single responder can fit and adjust it without assistance, and the universal sizing covers a broad patient range, from paediatric through to bariatric. If needed, the splint can be trimmed to improve fit or allow access for medical procedures.
Key features:
- Effective stabilisation: applies circumferential compression to help immobilise the pelvis when a fracture is suspected.
- Ultra-light and portable: easy to carry and pack with other emergency response equipment.
- One size, multiple applications: suitable for paediatric to bariatric patients, and can be cut to size.
- One-person application: designed for rapid fitting by a single responder.
- Skin-friendly: stitch-free interior reduces the risk of pressure ulcers and tissue damage.
- Medical access ready: can be modified to allow access to vital body areas for emergency procedures.
What is a brace for a fractured pelvis? A pelvic splint, also called a pelvic binder or pelvic fracture brace, wraps around the hips to compress and stabilise the pelvic ring. This helps reduce internal bleeding and pain while the patient is transported for definitive care.
Civilian blue colour. Single use. Ideal for ambulance services, emergency departments, tactical medics, industrial first aid and remote-area response kits.
